Abigail Keel is a freelance audio producer and reporter with credits at Wirecutter from the New York Times, Atlas Obscura, The Sporkful, AtWill Media, and more. She spent seven years at Stitcher, most recently as a senior producer for Witness Docs, where she collaborated with Ash on Unfinished: Short Creek, (named one of the best podcasts of 2020 by the New Yorker). Before making serialized documentaries, she produced Unladylike, named one of Spotify’s top podcasts of 2018, The Longest Shortest Time, and interned at Radiolab, where she reported one of the most popular episodes to date.

Ash Sanders is an writer, audio producer, artist, educator, and activist. Her work focuses on confronting the ecological crisis by creating public containers for processing grief. Her curatorial and artistic work around climate thanatology has been exhibited at the 68 Art Institute in Copenhagen. Her podcast — Short Creek, was named a best podcast of 2020 by The New Yorker, one of the best podcasts of 2020 by The Atlantic, made the Bello Collective’s, and was nominated for an Ambie Award.

PRODUCER

Joe Soonthornsawad is a Brooklyn-based producer with a background in directing and technology development. His films have premiered at festivals including the Academy Award-qualifying St. Louis International Film Festival and the Asian American International Film Festival in New York City, and is currently producing new work for award-winning filmmakers. Previously, as a User Experience Lead at two tech startups, Joe has designed and launched software products for clients including Amazon, LVMH, GE, and Nike.
