She spent seven years at Stitcher, most recently as a senior producer for Witness Docs, where she collaborated with Ash on Unfinished: Short Creek, (named one of the best podcasts of 2020 by the New Yorker). Before making serialized documentaries, she produced Unladylike, named one of Spotify’s top podcasts of 2018, The Longest Shortest Time, and interned at Radiolab, where she reported one of the most popular episodes to date.

Ash Sanders is an writer, audio producer, artist, educator, and activist. Her work focuses on confronting the ecological crisis by creating public containers for processing grief. Her curatorial and artistic work around climate thanatology has been exhibited at the 68 Art Institute in Copenhagen. Her podcast — Short Creek, was named a best podcast of 2020 by The New Yorker, one of the best podcasts of 2020 by The Atlantic, made the Bello Collective’s, and was nominated for an Ambie Award.

Joe Soonthornsawad produces films, podcasts, and tech products. He has produced films that have screened at the Asian American International Film Festival in New York City and St. Louis International Film Festival (Academy Award-qualifying).
